Barbie Ferreira Bio
Barbara Linhares Ferreira, also known as Barbie Ferreira, is an American model and actress born in New York in 1996. As a teenager, she took the initiative to start her modeling career by sending her pictures to American Apparel. Ferreira also worked at a brand’s shop, while expanding her portfolio to work with brands like Aerie, Adidas, Asos, and Forever 21. In 2016, some of her photos for an Aerie campaign became viral, and she became a symbol for the body positivity movement, later being listed as one of the “30 Most Influential Teens” by Time magazine. A year later she hosted a Vice web series called “How to Behave,” earning a Webby Award for her role. Ferreira has also hosted a motivational series called "Body Party" for Teen Vogue magazine.
