Javier Bardem Bio

Javier Bardem was born on March 1, 1969 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. He acted in Spanish language films as a child and young adult before landing a role in Jamón Jamón in 1992. He starred in No Country for Old Men, where he played the villain, earning several awards including an Academy Award for Best Actor and a BAFTA. He won the Best Actor at Cannes for his role in Iñárritu and later starred in the Columbian adaptation of Love in the Time of Cholera.

He played another villain in the James Bond movie Skyfall, later earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012. He starred in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and the psychological thriller Mother!
