Christophe Michalak Bio
Christophe Michalak is a French pastry chef, restaurateur, author, and TV personality best known for his culinary work. He was born in Senlis, Oise, France, on July 22, 1973.
Christophe began his culinary journey at the age of fifteen, and he grew his expertise later on at the trade school of Angers where he received his certificate of professional excellence in pâtisserie. He worked at the Hilton London and Brussels, Hotel Negresco, Fauchon, Kobe, Pierre Hermé, and Plaza Athénée, but he now owns his own restaurant Plaza Athenaeum.
Christophe has made several appearances on the TV series Qui sera le prochain grand pâtissier, Touche pas à mon poste, Les enfants de la télé, Je t'aime etc., and C à vous, which features Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine, Anne-Sophie Lapix, and Alessandra Sublet.
He has authored the books Les desserts qui me font craquer, Les chocolat qui me font craquer, Le gâteau de mes rêves, Les meilleurs dessers de France, and C'est du gâteau.
