Patty Smyth, born as Patricia Smyth, on June 26, 1957, in New York City, New York, is a famous American singer and songwriter. She started her career as the lead singer and co-founder of the American rock band called Scandal but later would peruse a solo career. Patty Smyth released her debut album called Never Enough in 1987. She earned great success and recognition, as well as a Grammy Award nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media and an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song, for her collaboration with James Ingram by performing and co-writing the song Look What Love Has Done. Patty Smyth has released four studio albums in total throughout her career since 1981.
