The Brothers is a UK-based band comprised of five Mauritius-born brothers: lead vocalist Clarel, guitarist Lindsay, keyboardist Gervais, bassist Daniel, and drummer Clarey. The band is known for its hit single "Sing Me," which reached the top 10 on the British chart. The reggae-inspired track reached # 8 on the UK Singles Chart in the spring of 1977. The band worked with Mitch Murray and Peter Callander's UK record label, “Bust Stop.” Their hit song "Sing Me" and "Beautiful" were produced by Murray and Callander. Additionally, the due also composed some songs for the Brothers. The songs include "Love Don't Change," "You Don't Have to Be an Angel," and "Beautiful."
Their music leans towards reggae-infused pop, which is evident in their hit single "Sing Me." Despite their limited commercial success, "Sing Me" remains a nostalgic favorite for some, recognized for its upbeat and catchy melody.
