We The Kings Bio
Coming from Bradenton, Florida, We Are Kings was formed in 2005. The band members, Travis Clark, Hunter Thomsen, Drew Thomsen, and Danny Duncan, were friends way back in high school where they formed We Are Kings. On the social networking site Purevolume, they placed their very own tracks making a buzz online in 2007.
Their self-titled album was launched in October 2007. The song “Check Yes Juliet” was able to reach the Pop 100, spending the next two years playing shows alongside other bands. Their second album “Smile Kid” was released in 2009. The song “We’ll be a Dream” was able to make it to the Top 100 singles. Their third album “Sunshine State of Mind” arrived in 2011.
