The Vamps Bio

The Vamps are a four-piece pop ensemble from the United Kingdom. The members are Bradley Simpson, born in West Midlands; Tristan Evans, born in Devon; James Daniel McVey, of Dorset; and Connor Ball, of Aberdeen, Scotland. The Vamps have released one studio album, 2014’s Meet the Vamps, under Mercury Records. Singles off the album include “Can We Dance”, which debuted at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, “Wild Heart”, “Oh Cecilia (Breaking my Heart)”, and “Last Night”. “Wild Heart” was released in the US and China as The Vamps’ debut single. The Vamps have performed in support of McFly, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift and are currently on their first independent tour. The Vamps have won many teen awards, including the Your Best Breakthrough Award at the 2013 4Music Video Honours, Favorite New Artist and Best Group at the 2013 Hot Hits Awards, UK Favourite Breakthrough group at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, and the Best British Group, the Best British Single, and the Friday Download’s Best Breakthrough Award at the 2014 BBC Radio 1 Teens Awards. The group gained its following largely through Youtube videos.
