PSY Bio
Psy is a South Korean singer, songwriter and performer who immortalized the tune ‘Gangnam Style’, making it an international viral sensation that reached over three billion views on YouTube and had multiple memes, videos and other referential content produced about it. Gangnam style, a satirical K-Pop video, is the most watched video on YouTube, which also granted Psy the title of “King of YouTube”. Prior to Gangnam Style, Psy was already a well-known rapper known for his humour and irreverence. In 2012 he signed with YG Entertainment, and became an established artist. His album Psy 6 (Six Rules), Part 1, was his sixth album, and the one featuring Gangnam Style as its lead track. Psy was born on December 31st, 1977 in Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea.
