Coming from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Simple Plan was found in 1999. They are among the most successful punk-pop bands from Canada. Members, Pierre Bouvier, Jeff Stinco, David Desrosiers, Sebastien Lefebvre, and Chuck Comeau are all high school pals. At the age of 13, Comeau and Bouvier found the band Reset. Moving fast forward, the band Reset later became Simple Plan.
In 2001, Simple Plan joined the annual Vans Warped Tour, in which they became known as an energetic punk sound band. In 2002, they went to a studio recording with Joel Madden and Mark Hoppus. The result was “No Pads, No Helmets…. Just Balls” released in 2003 under the label Lava Records. They won the 2003 MuchMusic Video Award.
