Tanlines Bio
Tanlines are an American indie rock from Brooklyn, New York composed of Jesse Cohen and Eric Emm. They began playing together around 2008, performing at local venues and releasing remixes for the likes of El Guincho, Au Revoir Simone, Memory Tapes and Telepathe, among others. Their debut EP, “Settings” was released in 2010 and was acclaimed by the critics. They have shared the stage with bands The xx and Rick Ross. Their debut album “Mixed Emotions” was released in 2012. The album was a success, reaching number two on the Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart. Three years later, they released their second album “Highlights” trough True Panther Sounds. Their song “Bejan'” has been included on “Kitsuné Maison Compilation 7”.
