Projexx is a Jamaican musical artist from Kingston, Jamaica. He started learning songwriting and producing when he was 12 and wrote his first song when he was 17. He is known for combining rap, trap, and dancehall. The Kingston native was featured on Wizkid's single True Love from the Grammy Award-nominated Made in Lagos album, which peaked at number one on the Billboard Charts. The same year, the Jamaican signed an album deal with the American powerhouse label Warner Records.
He has also collaborated with Jamaican star BEAM, and Ape Drums for the song, Mek Money. On November 19, 2021, he released his debut EP called Queen Hill, in tribute to his hometown. The EP consists of six tracks. Projexx is the son of producer Lloyd James and grandson of legendary dancehall producer King Jammy.
