Tyler Shaan Adams is a professional soccer player born on February 14, 1999, in Wappinger, New York, USA. He spent his youth career at the New York Red Bulls Academy from 2012 to 2015, signing with New York Red Bulls II in 2015. He helped the club win the 2016 USL Cup.
Tyler joined the New York Red Bulls in 2016, making 59 MLS Regular Season appearances and helping the club lift the 2018 MLS Supporters Shield. He played at RB Leipzig between 2019 and 2022, winning the 2021/2022 DFB-Pokal. He joined Leeds United in July 2022 for a $24 million transfer fee.
Tyler represented the USA at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile and the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the Korea Republic. He won the 2017 CONCACAF U20 Championship with the U20 team. Tyler was the 2022 US Soccer Player of the Year. He won the 2019/20 CONCACAF Nations League with the US Men's National Team.
