Carla Hall is an American chef and entrepreneur who was born on May 12th 1964 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States. Her mother’s name is Audrey Hall. She attended Howard University’s business school in Washington DC and left with a degree in Accounting. She worked for some time at Price Waterhouse rising to become a CPA at a time before she decided to change her career. She also had a stint as a model back in Paris.
As a chef, Carla rose to fame when she became the finalist on Bravo’s Top Chef competition. She competed in the TV series from 2008-2009 and she is known for her trademark shout “hootie hoo!” She is also known for appearing on Top Chef: All-Stars. She is also popular as the co-host of the ABC cooking show The Chew.
