Leigh Francis Bio

Leigh Francis is a well-known English comedian who was born on April 30th, 1973 in the city of Beeston, England, United Kingdom. He started performing stand-up comedy after being encouraged to do so by Davina McCall, a television presenter and went on to create characters for television, such as Bobby Stark and Barry Gibson. After getting his start on television with the show Bo' Selecta!, he went on to star in other television programs like Celebrity Juice and Keith Lemon's LemonAid. Numerous shows have featured him in the starring role of his most famous character, Keith Lemon. He has appeared on the Frank Skinner Show, Loose Women, and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, where he has conducted comedic interviews. During the time that he was playing the role of Keith Lemon, the show he was on featured a number of guest stars, one of whom was Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls.
