Adina Porter Bio
Adina Porter is an actress born on 13th March 1971 in New York, United States. She is best known for playing Lettie Mae Thornton in the fantasy horror television series “True Blood”. She started her career with off-Broadway plays. In 1996 she won the Obie Award for Distinguished Performance by an Actress for her role in the play “Venus”. She made her debut on Broadway with the play “The Women”.
Porter made her on-screen debut in 1990 with the television series “Law & Order”, playing the role of Woman Neighbor. She later played the recurring role of housekeeper Gwen Walker in the drama television series “American Dreams” from 2002 to 2003. Her film debut came in 1992 with the film “Swoon”, which also featured Craig Chester, Michael Stumm, and Ron Vawter. Her appearance in the anthology television series “American Horror Story: Cult” earned her nomination for Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie.
