Jeremy Buendia (born October 26, 1990 in Roseville, California, United States) is a professional bodybuilder and cover model. Buendia’s interest in bodybuilding began as a little boy. He grew up watching his father lift weights on a daily basis and followed the footsteps of his older brother to become a bodybuilder. At 19, Buendia became a part of the National Physique Committee and the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding) where he won his first bodybuilding title.
In 2012, Buendia transitioned to the Men’s Physique division, where even as an amateur, made a run winning multiple shows in all the competitions on the west coast. He won his first pro show at the 2013 Greater Gulf States in New Orleans, Louisiana, and earned his first Olympia Qualification at 22.
In 2013, Buendia finished in 2nd place against 16 of the world’s best physiques. Since then, Buendia has won 4 IFBB Pro Men’s Physique competitions (2014-2017), and earned the title as the BEST men’s physique athlete in the world. He also became the first athlete to ever successfully defend the Olympia men’s physique championship.
Since winning his Olympia Titles, Buendia has appeared on the cover of several magazines and romance novels. In September 2015, he co-starred in the docu-drama film “the Perfect Physique” which captures the lives and struggles of several top IFBB Pros and Fitness Cover Models.
