Katya Elise Henry (born June 14, 1994 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States) is an American fitness model, online personal trainer, and social media personality.
Before gaining popularity on social media, Katya worked as a full time nanny. While attending Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, Katya enrolled in the cheerleading squad. In that time, she worked to develop cardio routines and flexibility through cheerleading. With her mother’s guidance and direction, Katya set herself on course for her dream body, and decided to share her progress on Instagram. She made her first Instagram post in January 2013.
What started on Instagram as a journal to keep track of her own developmental journey soon evolved to a career, and after realizing her posts were motivating people to go to the gym, Katya decided to pursue professional training full time. She also started the website Workouts by Katya and has invented various fitness regimens like the "8 week THICC Challenge."
She has partnered with fitness and supplement brand EHPlabs, and has been featured on events, including Joe Weider’s ‘Olympia Weekend’ and ‘Body Power Expo’. She also created the Kiss My Peach Swimwear line. She is associated with Kayla Itsines.
