CoCo Vandeweghe Bio

CoCo Vandeweghe is a professional tennis player born on 6th December 1991 in Rancho Santa Fe, California, United States. She is best known for winning the WTA title in 2014 at the Topshelf Open held in Rosmalen, Netherlands. She also reached two semifinals of the Grand Slam and the final of the WTA Elite Trophy in 2017. Her performance in the competitions saw her rise to position 10 for the first time. She also participated in the Australian Open and US Open in 2015 and 2017, reaching the quarterfinals in both competitions.   

Although she has mostly participated as a single player, she has also excelled at doubles. She partnered with Martina Hingis in 2016. They made it to the semifinals of the US Open. Her outstanding performance in the competition lifted her world ranking to number 18. In 2018, she partnered with Ashleigh Barty at the US Open and went on to win her first Grand Slam title.
