Sharon Corr is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician who performs pop-rock and Celtic music. She was born in County Louth, Ireland, on March 24, 1970.
Sharon began playing the violin at a young age and studied classical music at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. In the 1990s, she formed The Corrs with her siblings Andrea, Caroline, and Jim, and the band quickly gained popularity with their unique blend of Celtic music and pop rock. Her discography with the group includes the hit singles Breathless, Runaway, All the Love in the World, So Young, Summer Sunshine, and the albums Forgiven, Not Forgotten, Jupiter Calling, Borrowed Heaven, and White Light.
Throughout her career, Sharon has received numerous awards and accolades, including an Ivor Novello award and a BMI Pop Award.
