Ed Westwick Bio

Edward Westwick was born on June 27, 1987 in Sevenage, Hertfordshire, England. Beginning his small screen career with roles in an Doctors and Casualty, Ed garnered fame with his performance as Charles “Chuck” Bass in Gossip Girl which won him a few Teen Choice Awards for best villain and breakthrough performance in 2008 and 2009. He continued his television career with work on Wicked City, Californication, Family Guy, and White Gold. On the big screen, he had roles in prominent films such as Children of Men (2006), Breaking and Entering (2006), S. Darko (2009) (sequel to Donnie Darko), J. Edgar (2011), and even the role of Tybalt in a film adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet (2013). Aside from acting, he was once fronting for the indie band The Filthy Young and became the model and spokesperson of K-Swiss in 2008.
