Kevin Negandhi Bio

Kevin Negandhi is an American journalist and sportscaster born on March 20, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While studying at Temple University, he became a reporter for Fox’s Philadelphia Inquirer High School Sports Show. Aside from that, he was also a stringer for USA Today, covering sports news in six local colleges. After he graduated from Temple in 1997, he became a sports anchor at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri in 1998. He would go on to become the station’s sports director. In 1999, he became a part of WWSB-TV in Sarasota, Florida as a sportscaster and in 2004, he became the station’s sports director. During his time at the station, he was granted the Associated Press’ Best Sportscast award in 2004 and 2005, and Best Breaking Sports News award in 2005. In 2006, he joined ESPN and hosted programs like NFL Live, Outside the Lines, NBA Tonight, and the women’s NCAA basketball Final Four. In 2015, he was awarded the Team ESPN Disney Volunteer Commentator of the Year. 2017 marked the start of his tenure as an anchor at SportsCenter.
