Kristen Kish Bio
Kristen Kish is a Korean-born Boston-based chef de cuisine who was born on December 1st 1983. She was born in Seoul as Kwon Yung Ran and adopted at the age of four months by a Michigan family. Kristen studied at East Kenwood High School and moved on to earn her associate degree in culinary arts from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Chicago.
Kristen rose to fame when she competed on the hit reality competition show Top Chef back in 2012. She reappeared in the competition in Last Chance Kitchen and eventually took the honor of Top Chef, becoming the second female to win the show. Kristen became the chef de cuisine at Stir, Boston, in 2012 and later left the position in March 2014.
