Natalie La Rose Bio

Singer Natalie La Rose was born in Amsterdam on July 12, 1988. She studied singing and dancing at Lucia Marthas Dance Academy in Amsterdam and graduated in 2008. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in music.

Natalie La Rose signed a deal with Background Records to be in the pop duo, Amsterdam, in 2010. The duo never released music. In 2011, she met rapper Flo Rida at an ESPY Awards after party and began performing with him on worldwide tours. She signed to his label International Music Group and Republic Records in 2013. La Rose’s debut single, “Somebody,” featured rapper Jeremih and was released in January 2015. It reached number ten the Billboard Top 100 chart, number two on the UK Singles chart, and number twelve on the Australian ARIA Singles chart. Her second single, “Around the World,” was released in June 2015 and featured rapper Fetty Wap. In summer 2015, she opened for girl group Fifth Harmony on their US tour.
