Percelle Ascott (born June 10, 1993, in Zimbabwe) is a Zimbabwean-English actor and writer most renowned for his roles in Wizards vs. Aliens (2012), X+Y (2014), and Pompidou (2015).
After moving to London at age 3, Ascott lived with his mother, aunt and cousins in a two-bedroom apartment in a South London estate. He took interest in acting from a very tender age. At age 11, he was a part of a school play in his school. Growing up, Ascott wanted to be a part of projects that featured exceptional storytelling.
Ascott landed the leading role of Benny Sherwood, best friend of the main character, Tom, in the CBBC series Wizards vs Aliens in 2012. After that, he became a regular on the E4 series Youngers. He has also acted in other movies including Beat Girl (2013), Deep It (2016), and the Dare (2019).
Besides acting, Ascott also produces, writes and directs films. He is the co-writer and star of the acclaimed web comedy series Mandem on the Wall. He works with Joivan Wade on the Mandem on the Wall series. He is also the co-owner of The Wall of Comedy, a social media platform with over eight million followers.
