Maria Bartiromo is a well-known journalist and television reporter. She was born on September 11th, 1967 in the borough of Brooklyn, New York, United States. Prior to achieving fame and fortune, she used to work in the coat check room of the Italian restaurant that her family owned. She made history by being the first daily TV reporter to ever broadcast live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. In 2011, she was honoured by being inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame, becoming the first journalist to do so. She was also an editor for The Wall Street Journal Report in addition to co-hosting the show "Closing Bell." In addition, she made a cameo appearance in the film The Taking of Pelham 123, which starred Denzel Washington.
