SiR Bio
Born in 1986, SiR (Sir Darryl Farris) is an American rapper, songwriter, and record producer from Inglewood, California. After joining a song writing group, WoodWorks, with his cousin and brother, SiR eventually got a job as a music engineer. He went on to work as a writer and helped develop songs for Jill Scott, Stevie Wonder, and Ginuwine. In 2015, SiR released his first indie album, “Seven Sundays” which caught the attention of both fans and industry professionals. SiR signed with Top Dawg Entertainment and RCA Records. He has collaborated with Isaiah Rashad, Kendrick Lamar, Big K.R.I.T., Lil Wayne, Jill Scott, and Anderson .Paak. In 2019 he released his second album, “Chasing Summer.”
