Armando Bacot Bio
Armando Bacot is a professional basketball player who currently plays for North Carolina Tar Heels, which competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He played high school basketball for Trinity Episcopal School first and later transferred to IMG Academy. In 2018, he committed to playing college basketball for North Carolina. He had received offers from different colleges, including Oklahoma State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Kansas State University, Duke University, and Villanova University.
In April 2021, Bacot declared for the 2021 NBA draft; however, he withdrew his name so he could return to Chapel Hill. After his senior year, he decided to use his fifth year of eligibility to return to North Carolina. Other renowned basketballers who have played for North Carolina include Reggie Bullock and Danny Green. Bacot has also played for the under-18 national basketball team.
