The Zutons Bio
The Zutons is a popular music band, which was established in 2002 in the city of Liverpool, England. The band is led by singer/guitarist David McCabe, lead guitarist Boyan Chowdhury, bassist Russell Pritchard, Saxophonist Abi Harding and drummer Sean Payne. The band's first single, titled "Devil's Deal," was issued by the Deltasonic label in 2002. Deltasonic is the same record label that was responsible for The Coral's releases. Subsequently, the band started working on its debut album, which was produced by Ian Broudie, and in 2003, a new single called "Pressure Point" was released. Upon its initial release in the United Kingdom, The Zutons were nominated for a Mercury Prize.
