Josh Thomas Bio
Josh Thomas is a comedian born on 26th May 1987 in Queensland, Australia. He is also an actor and writer. He won the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Comedy competition in 2005. He is known for appearing in the TV comedy series “Everything’s Gonna Be Okay” as Nicholas. His solo show “Please Like Me” made its debut at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2007 where it won the Melbourne Airport Award for Best Newcomer.
Thomas’ podcast “Josh Thomas and Friend” is available on iTunes and features Thomas and fellow comedians Tom Ward and Mel Buttle. His on TV series “Please Like Me” premiered on TV channel ABC2 in February 2013. The TV series was acquired by American film production company “Participant Media” and premiered in August 2013. Thomas has received many awards for his work on the series, including the 2015 AACTA Award for Best TV Screenplay.
