Girlfriends Bio
Girlfriends is an American comedy that premiered on UPN on September 11, 2000, and aired on The CW, UPN's successor network, until it was canceled in 2008. On February 11, 2008, the final episode aired.
On September 11, 2000, the series premiered on UPN. Girlfriends were moved to Sundays at 8/7C after several years on the network at 9/8C on Mondays. Following this, the show's popularity fell. Girlfriends, along with The CW's other African-American shows, returned to Mondays on October 9, 2006.
