Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Bio
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a prominent religious figure and activist who was born on May 13th, 1956, in Papanasam, Tamil Nadu, India. The Art of Living Foundation is a humanitarian organization that was established by him in 1981. Consequently, he became best known as a spiritual leader and founder, which brought him the majority of his notoriety. He had the opportunity of traveling to Iraq at the invitation of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki in 2007. Another charitable organization called the International Association of Human Values was also founded by him. His organizations are rapidly growing across 170 countries, and have reached an estimate of 500 million people. Moreover, he was presented with the Padma Vibhushan honor award by the government of India, in 2016.
