Cub Sport Bio

Cub Sport is an Australian alternative pop group formed in Brisbane, Australia in 2010. The members of the band are Tim Nelson on vocals, Sam “Bolan” Netterfield on vocals and keyboards, Zoe Davis on vocals, keyboards, and guitar, and Dan Puusaari on drums. The band was started by Tim Nelson as a backing band for his solo music. In 2010 they released their debut EP titled Tim Nelson & the Cub Scouts. In 2011 they changed the name of the band to the Cub Scouts and released the single “Evie.” In 2012 they released the single “Do You Hear” and their second EP titled Told You So. In 2013 they changed the name again to Cub Sport and released their third EP titled Paradise. In 2016 they released their debut full-length album titled This Is Our Vice. They followed it up in 2017 with their second album Bats and in 2019 released their third album titled Cub Sport. The album Bats reached number 67 on ARIA Albums chart and Cub Sport reached number 12 on the ARIA album chart. Their music has been featured on several television shows, including Are You the One?, Please Like Me, Scream, Awkward, Switched at Birth, and The Only Way Is Essex.
