Ashton Sanders Bio
Actor Ashton Sanders, born October 24th 1995 in Carson, California, grew up performing in theater. Sanders studied at DePaul University’s Theatre School, but dropped out to pursue his acting career. The talented actor landed roles in Making Possibilities, The Retrieval, Straight Outta Compton, and The Skinny. Sanders went on to play Chiron in the smash hit, Moonlight. The ground-breaking movie won three Academy Awards for Best Motion Picture, Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Moonlight also won a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama. Ashton went on to appear in We Home, The Last Virgin in LA, Chloe x Halle: The Kids Are Alright, Dead Women Walking, The Equalizer 2, Native Son, Captive Stare, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, All Day and a Night, and Judas and the Black Messiah.
