Primoz Roglic is a Slovenian professional racing cyclist who competed in international competitions. He was born in Trbovlje, SR Slovenia, Yugoslavia, on October 29, 1989.
Primoz started his sporting career as a ski jumper but transitioned to cycling in 2012. Since then, he has become one of the most dominant cyclists in the world, known for his exceptional climbing and time-trialing abilities. In 2016, Roglic signed with the Dutch cycling team LottoNL-Jumbo, and he quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the sport. He won his first Grand Tour stage at the 2017 Giro d'Italia and has since gone on to win multiple Grand Tour stages and several major races, including the 2020 La Vuelta a España.
His impressive results have earned him numerous accolades, including the Slovenian Sportsman of the Year award in 2017, 2019, and 2020. He has also represented Slovenia in several international cycling competitions, including the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games.
