Paola Paulin is a multi-talented actress and model, prominent for her role as Michelle in the HBO hit TV show, “Ballers,” starring alongside Dwayne Johnson and Idris Elba. Born on November 23, 1990, Paola was born in Mexico to Mexican parents, but grew up in Medellin, Colombia.
She flew to Miami at 23 after graduating from Pontifical Bolivarian University, courtesy of her work at the Organization of the Open States. Paola decided to pursue modeling and acting as a career, as she felt there was more to her looks.
She worked on perfecting her acting skills by participating in different theater plays and studying various techniques. However, she didn’t get any movie roles immediately. She first started as a TV host for CNN Latino.
Paola enjoys the role of strong female characters because they reflect her personality. She has starred in several movies throughout her career, such as “American Violence” and “Protagonist.”
Aside from acting, Paola runs a podcast and is a runway model. She has featured on several billboard campaigns, such as L’Oreal and Sketchers. She has also worked with brands like Coca Cola and Moroccan Oil. When she isn’t acting or modeling for brands, she is using her podcast “The Next 10” to share her story to inspire other people not to give up on their dreams. She currently lives in L.A.
