Ajani Russell Bio
Ajani Russell is an actor, model and skateboard artist born on 11th March 1999 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. She is widely recognized for featuring in the film “Skate Kitchen” in 2018, playing the role of Indigo. She is a co-founder of a female skater’s collective called The Skate Kitchen. When she is not skating in the streets of the city, she’s modeling and attending her classes in college.
Russell has always been passionate about skateboarding, and this can actually be seen on her Instagram page, where she regularly uploads photos. Casting director Crystal Moselle approached her for the role of Indigo in the film. She was also spotted by photographer Petra Collins who saw the potential in her and cast her in the music video for “Bartier Cardi” featuring famous music artists like 21 Savage and Cardi B.
