Patrick Bamford (born September 5, 1993 in Grantham, England, United Kingdom) is an English football player, most renowned as a striker for the Leeds United club.
Bamford made his professional football debut playing for Nottingham Forest on December 31, 2011. On January 31, 2012, Bamford signed a five-year contract for 1.5 million pounds with Chelsea. While at Chelsea, Bamford was loaned out to various other clubs including Milton Keynes Dons, Derby County, Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace, and Norwich City.
On August 30, 2016, he joined Burnley on loan. There, he made six Premier League appearances before being called back to Chelsea. On January 18, 2017, Bamford joined Middlesbrough on a four-and-a-half-year contract for approximately £ 5.5 million. On July 31, 2018, he joined Leeds United on a four-year contract. On February 8, 2021, Bamford scored his 100th goal as a professional football player against Crystal Palace. In the 2014/2015 season, Bamford was named Champion Player of the Year by the Football League Awards while playing for Middlesbrough.
