Sona Gasparian Bio
Sona Gasparian (born December 9, 1985 in Armenia) is a Professional makeup artist, blogger, and YouTube Star, most renowned for posting content on beauty, skincare, hair, fashion and lifestyle to her MakeupBySona YouTube channel. She also runs a blog called Simply Sona and is the founder of Persona Cosmetics.
Sona began experimenting with makeup when she was 16 years old. In 2007, Sona attended Make-Up Designory in Los Angeles before working at MAC Cosmetics. In September of 2015, she published a video titled “Makeup for Beginners w/ Lisa Eldridge – 5 Must Haves!”
Obsessed with makeup, Sona continued making beauty videos and making vlogs and writing blogs as her hobby. Fortunately, her acclaimed record gained her thousands of subscribers on YouTube. It also earned her collaborations with famous beauty and fashion brands, including Vogue, Glamour, and Elle. Following her success, Sona invented her makeup line, Persona Cosmetics, in 2016.
