Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known as 2Baba, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur. Born in Jos, Nigeria, he had an interest in music from the age of 6. He began his music career as part of a hip-hop/R&B trio, Plantashun Boiz, in the 90s. After deciding to embark on a solo career in 2004, 2Baba, then known as 2face Idibia, became known in Africa and parts of Europe thanks to his albums Face 2 Face (2004) and Grass 2 Grace (2006). His music style is a blend of reggae, West African folk, R&B, and hip-hop. He has won numerous awards, including the SoundCity Music Video Award, an MTV Europe Music Awards, and several MTV Africa Music Awards. In addition to his music, 2Baba is also a Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.
