Actress Elizabeth Frances Henstridge, born September 11th 1987 in Sheffield, England, attended Meadowhead School and King Edward VII School, graduated from the University of Birmingham, and studied at East 15 Acting School. The actress started her acting career in a string of projects including Easy Under the Apple Bough, Hollyoaks, And the Kid, The Thompsons, Delicacy, Shelter, and Gangs of Tooting Broadway. Elizabeth landed the role of Jemma Simmons in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and appeared as a series regular. She reprised the role in animated form in the Ultimate Spider-Man. Henstridge also appeared in Collection, Wolves at the Door, Temporary, Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, and Christmas at the Plaza. Elizabeth also took a step behind the camera and directed an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
