Álvaro Borja Morata Martín, better known as Álvaro Morata is a Spanish professional soccer player who plays as a striker in Europe’s top leagues. He was born in Madrid, Spain, on October 23, 1992. Alvaro began his soccer career playing with the youth setups at Atlético Madrid, Getafe, and Real Madrid, and he turned professional in 2010 when he made his debut with the senior Real Madrid team. He has since represented Juventus, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid, and throughout his time with Juventus, Alvaro played alongside Paulo Dybala, Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Chiesa, and Matthijs de Ligt. His career highlights include winning La Liga, Copa del Rey, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the FA Cup. Alvaro has also been a regular in Spain’s national soccer team since making his debut for them in 2014.
