Actress and singer Lucy Hale, was born Karen Lucille Hale on June 14th 1989 in Tennessee. Hale is best known for her role as Aria Montgomery in the popular series Pretty Little Liars. Lucy took acting and singing lessons, and first stepped onto the Hollywood scene as one of the winners of the children’s spinoff of American Idol, American Juniors. Hale took on acting, making a string of appearances in Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, Drake & Josh, The O.C., Bionic Woman, and Wizards of Waverly Place. Lucy appeared in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and was a lead in the short-lived show Privileged. Over the years Hale appeared in Sorority Wars, Dude, A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, Truth or Dare, Baby Daddy, How I Met Your Mother, and Fantasy Island. After starring in Pretty Little Liars alongside Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and Shay Mitchell, she got the lead roles in the TV shows Life Sentence, and the Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene. Although her acting career keeps her busy, Hale’s other love is singing. She signed a record deal with Hollywood Records and she released her debut album Road Between.
