Ana Golja Bio

Ana Golja, whose real birth name is Muazana Golja, is a Canadian actress and singer who was born on January 31, 1996, in Toronto, Ontario. She began her acting career in 2005 when she participated in an episode of the TV series “Missing”. Her next appearance on TV was in 2008 on an episode of the show “Flashpoint”, which was followed by a small role on “Franny’s Feet” in 2009.

In 2011 she got her first starring role on the TV crime and mystery series “Clue” alongside Zach Mills and Sarah Desjardins. That same year she appeared on the series “Connor Undercover” and starred in the series “What's Up Warthogs!” opposite Karissa Lee Staples and Eduard Witzke. Her breakthrough came in 2013 when she started playing Zoe Rivas in the famous show “Degrassi: The Next Generation”, which was followed by “Degrassi: Next Class” in 2016. In 2019 she starred in the film “The Cuban” opposite Louis Gossett Jr. and Shohreh Aghdashloo, for which she received the Audience Award at Los Angeles Pan African Film Festival.
