Animotion Bio
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Animotion is an American new wave and synth-pop band. Throughout the decades-long history of the band, its makeup has changed, but Animotion currently consists of Astrid Plane on vocals, Don Kirkpatrick on guitar, Greg Smith on the keyboard, Bill Wadhams on vocals and guitar, Jim Blair on drums, and Chris Wadhams on bass guitar. The band was formed in 1983, and most of the original members came from the band Red Zone. They released their debut, eponymous album Animotion in 1984. Their discography includes the singles Obsession, Let Him Go, I Engineer, Room to Move, and the albums Strange Behavior, Room to Move, and Raise Your Expectations.
