Antoine Winfield Jr. is an American football player, born on August 16, 1998, in Columbus, Ohio. He is known as a free safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and was named all American and Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year in 2019. The American was drafted 45th overall by the Buccaneers in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Texas-born player made his NFL debut for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. His first career NFL sack was also in 2020 on quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. He is the son of former NFL player Antoine Winfield Sr. who played for fourteen seasons with the Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings.
