Daniel William Wood (popularly known as Danny Wood) is an American singer-songwriter and actor who was born on May 14, 1969 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. His parents are Daniel and Elizabeth Wood and he had five siblings.
Danny was one of the members of the popular band New Kids On The Block (NKOTB) with band mates Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight, and Donnie Wahlberg. As a member, he was the singer, guitarist, and key choreographer. He was part of the hugely successful New Kids on the Block's tour of the UK in 1990 till he got in an accident and had to return to the US for treatment. As an actor he featured in Tequila Express in 2002, Fuller House (2016) and Beyond the Case.
Danny released his debut album D-Fuse: Room Full of Smoke in 1999 and the second D-Fuse: Room Full of Smoke, Vol. 2 followed in 2003. The third album Second Face was dropped in late 2003 and the fifth Coming Home followed in 2008.
