Ashley Longshore Bio
Ashley Longshore is an American painter and pop artist who was born on August 19th, 1975 in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. She was born in Alabama but is now based in New Orleans. Ashley took dance, theatre, and music lessons and later graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of Montana. Ashley is a self-taught artist. She began painting while a student at the University of Montana. She earned comparisons with Andy Warhol owing to her bold style and self-proclaimed culture obsession. Ashley was the first female artist to receive a solo exhibit at Bergdorf Goodman when in 2018 she took over the store’s Fifth Avenue windows as well as its seventh-floor gallery. That helped her land other opportunities including a spot for Diane von Furstenberg in celebration of Women’s History Month in 2019 and an official artist role in New York Fashion Week in the same year. Ashley has created artworks for Gucci, Maybelline, Judith Leiber Couture, and Veuve Clicquot.
