Rafael Leão Bio
Rafael Leão is a professional Portuguese soccer player who plays as a forward for the Italian club AC Milan and the Portuguese national team. He was born on 10th June 1999 in Almanda, Portugal and began his career at Sporting CP’s youth system. His debut with the senior team came in February 2018 against C.D Feirense.
In June 2018, he terminated his contract with Sporting C.P on the grounds of players being attacked by fans on the training ground. He joined Lille in August 2018 on a five-year contract. He joined AC Milan on a five-year deal one year later and made his debut in the Italian league 24 days later. Rafael Leão was called up to the Portuguese under-21 team in November 2017. He was called to the senior team in October 2021 in a friendly match against Qatar.
