Kardinal Offishall is a famous rapper born on 11th May 1976 in Ontario, Canada. He gained popularity with his album “Quest for Fire: Firestarter, Vol. 1.” He began his career in the 1990s and released his debut album, “Eye & I” and the EP “Husslin.” In 2000, he signed with major label MCA records. The following year, he released his second album, titled “Quest for Fire: Firestarter, Vol. 1.” In 2005, he released his third album, titled “Fire and Glory.” In the same year, he went into a musical partnership with popular singer Akon, which lasted for five years.
He released his fourth album, titled “Not 4 Sale”, under the Kon Live Distribution label. The first single, titled “Dangerous”, made it to the top five hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and received platinum certification in Canada. He left Kon Live in 2010 and started releasing his songs on the independent label Black Stone Colleagues Inc. He became the creative director of the A&R team of Universal Music Canada.
