Djbril Cisse is a French retired footballer and DJ who was born on August 12th 1981 in Arles, Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur, France. His late father, Mangue Cisse, was also a professional soccer player who had once captained Ivory Coast. Djibril is also known by the nicknames Babalawo and TCHEBA. Throughout his soccer career, Djibril played for Auxerre, Liverpool, Marseille, Sunderland, Panathinaikos, Lazio, Queens Park Ranger, Al-Gharafa, Kuban Krasnodar, Bastia, Saint- Pierroise, Yverdon, and AC Vicenza. In 2017 he retired from football after playing for Panathinaikos to focus on his DJ career. He was the DJ at his farewell party. His tracks can be found on YouTube and Soundcloud. As an actor, Djibril is best known for Taxi 4 (2007), Birmingham City vs Liverpool FC (2005), and Maintenant (2022).
